During the year, fundraisers are conducted to support service projects, fund scholarships, community grants and international projects. These activities are only made possible through the support and participation in Zonta Cheektowaga-Lancaster Foundation fundraisers. Fundraisers may vary on a year basis. However, the following are examples of typical fundraisers which are held.
December 1, 2026 - Giving Tuesday
Created in 2012 to counterbalance heavy after Thanksgiving shopping days, the Zonta Club has decided to participate in this worldwide movement. If you want to support local girls and women donate to us through our website or click below.
November 21st- Our 3rd Annual Meat Raffle
Join us for this lively fundraiser at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4569 Broadway, Depew. Doors open at 6 p.m. Enjoy basket raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and plenty of meat. This event is for guests aged 21 and older.
GIVE 716 day
Our first online event was held this year. The Zonta Cheektowaga-Lancaster Foundation participated in a variety of matching gifts and donor prizes. The event was a success, with enthusiastic donor support. We look forward to participating again in 2027.
Proceeds and donations go to our Foundation and contribute to scholarships, grant awards and community service projects.
